..Step three, have some products of your own to promote which are only available through your website. Once you have your website going, it is important and good leverage to have some products or services that your customers can't find with other affiliate's site. Things like a free 7 day marketing course on email sign up will work very well, as will free eBook downloads or access to free private label article material, but you can use anything at all.


The fourth step is to build a strong relationship with people who already buy the product you are promoting. In order for you as the marketer to fully answer the query of your potential customers, it is probably best to try and buy the product by yourself. With this particular notion, you can better sell the product that you are marketing. You can share with your potential customers what a great experience you had with the particular product, and this is excellent in making them interested enough to buy the product. You may also be able to provide a support, tips and advice if necessary or you could provide a confident tutorial on how to use the product that you are marketing, all based on your personal experience. Be totally honest about the product that you are trying to market. If you find out that one program you were trying to promote was a scam, stop promoting it immediately and inform all your readers about it. This will help you build credibility with your lists and confidence within your readers. We all make mistakes and admitting your mistake will boost your reader's confidence in you.


Last but most definitely not least, don't try to market everything you see – they all have great ‘pitch’ pages that draw you in but with services such as click bank, it is easy to become overwhelmed and try to market everything in the click bank marketplace. It's better to focus on one market and choose to market out the products that they would want. This is called niche marketing. Try and think outside the box when you choose your Niche. Every man and his dog are promoting things like "Get Rich NOW" and "Ebay Secrets" etc – aim for areas where the demand for information is much higher yet the competition is lower.


Try to promote a certain product or 1 – 2 products, which conform to the specifications measured through indications of customer-satisfaction, rather than indicators of self-gratification. It is the customer who ultimately decides what they want to buy and not the company or the affiliate mark
